25 Jan Community Theater to present a ‘Trio of Mysteries’
Do you enjoy a good mystery and are longing for a night out with your honey on Valentine’s Day? Well, Sneads Ferry Community Theatre has just what you’re looking for beginning in February.
The theatre group is presenting a “Trio of Mysteries” that opens February 14, 15, and 16th. Curtain times are 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and then 3 p.m. on Sunday. The show will also run the following weekend of Feb. 21, 22 and 23 with the same curtain times.
The “mystery trio” is “Sorry, Wrong Number,” by Lucille Fletcher; “Not My Cup of Tea,” by Albert Groff; and “Blind Woman’s Bluff,” by Janet S. Tiger. This event is a Readers Dessert Theatre where dessert will be served during intermission.
Sneads Ferry Community Theatre is a performing arts group that began in March of 2002. Its first production, “Nuptials,” was in March of that year. By the end of 2008, the group had produced 17 stage plays, seven Readers Theatres and a few other special productions.
The SFCT is proud of winning the 2006 Community Theatre Award, a recognition by the North Carolina Community Theatre Conference.
